Suwan Kim 김수완

Assistant Professor · AIDA Lab

Suwan Kim is an Assistant Professor in the College of Electronic Engineering at Kyung Hee University (September 2025–), where he leads the AI-aided Design Automation (AIDA) Lab.

He received B.S. degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from Seoul National University (2019), and a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Seoul National University (2024). Prior to joining KHU, he was a Staff Engineer at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology.

His research focuses on machine learning for EDA, design technology co-optimization (DTCO), and design methodology for advanced semiconductor nodes.
